Knights vs. Samurais

In our debate between knights and samurais, I was going for the knights and against the samurais. During that time, I learned a lot of facts of the knights as well as samurais. First and foremost, knights first developed in the Medieval Times and as for the samurais, they lived and trained in Japan.

As for the knights, they wore suits of armor and rode into combat on a horse while fighting with a sword, but however, the samurais went into battle with iron, and leather protection. Also, instead of fighting with a sword, they fought with bow and arrows. The kinghts' suit of armor was more appropriate in combat because it fully protects themselves along with a face mask. However, as for the samurais, their armor didn't fully protect themselves, and part of their armor was made of leather which after a long time makes you feel stuffy and sweaty. In that case, they'll be warm and uncomfortable feeling even before the battle. Furthermore, the samurais didn't have a face mask, so their face was wide open; that means that they could get struck in the face.

Furthermore, knights had follow an honorable code known as chivalry likewise to the samurais which followed in a code known as bushido. Knights had started their training at about the age of ten. During that time, they learned how to use different weapons, jousting, and abouve all, how to fight in combat. They had to learn how to use different weapons which will help them in combat. Even so, their main weapon would be the sword. Knights fought and protected their lord same as the samurais, and they had gotten land in return. However, without kinghts, the lords wouldn't be able to survive because it was the knights that was depended on the fight for the lord.

All in all, knights played a more important role in the nation than the samurais. It was easir for them to fight, as well as they were the one to protect the lord. Knights rules!!! :)
