SAMURAI BEAT KNIGHTS!!! READ THIS!!!

Samurai are extremely similar to knights, except, they are better. Many believe that knights are superior because they are noble, courageous, and strong. Truth is, so are samurai; samurai are simply the better Japanese version of knights. Still don't believe me? Let's debate about it.

You believe that knights are stronger, and better protected. Knights' armor are made out of about 65 pounds of heavy metal, and they still can't fully protect them. Now I say samurai armor are way lighter, made out of iron plates and flexible leather, they allow us to do everything faster than knights. They are much less protected? No, because they never rely on their armor, instead they depend on pure skill. In fact, they have been required to start their path of training at around three years of age. Well what do you do when you're only a toddler? Don't they just cry and get pampered all day? Of course not, if it were truly like that no one would ever set the bar of requirement so high. These amazing toddlers are first taught meditation, to prepare them for future battles. And as they get older and stronger they train in the martial arts.

There is one aspect of the samurai's ways that is very disagreeable. A samurai will suicide when he has disgraced his lord, his family, and himself. If he makes one little mistake it's out with the guts. Many believe this is crazy and that they deserve a second chance like the knights, who can make as many mistakes as possible as long as it keeps them alive. Well, truthfully, if a samurai flees a battle, he's going to die a slow painful death in the next fight. In my opinion, dying by a quick suicide (slicing your guts out) sounds better than dying because someone else killed you because you weren't quick enough and knowing you failed your duty.

Though samurai and knights are extremely similar, the small difference between them will change the position of domination. I hope these few opinions of mine have persuaded you to believe that samurai are superior to knights. End of debate.
