SKILL+MENTALITY+STRENGTH+SPEED=SAMURAI!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion samurai are better than knights. The two are similar, knights have their code chivalryand samurai also have a code of honor known as bushido. Even if they are similar I think samurai are still better.
Even if knights had their catapults and things like that, the knights usually just focus on a skill of swordsmanship. Other than samurai who are trained to be skilled in swordsmanship (katana was the sword), yari (thrusting spear), horsemanship, and archery too. Knights have scrap metal all over them. Their armor was heavy, so it made it difficult to move quickly. Samurai had lighter armor, and even if it was light it had quality. Their armor was made of iron leather and copper. People say that just because samurai armor does not cover all the body means it isn't good protection. Maybe the samurai didn't need the protection in those visible areas, they don't rely on just their armor but also skill. The samurai's katana is unmatched in its sharpness and cutting power. The katana was excellent at cutting, slicing, thrusting, and suitable for armored OR unarmored fighting on foot or horseback, either one or two handed.
Knights train when they're about 8 to 10 years old, that's young right? Well think again samurai start traning when they are only about THREE years old. Not because it was easy to become a samurai that they started so early, it maybe because of all the skill, strength, speed, and mental training needed to be one. Samurai start young to be highly skilled.
As I have said before knights have their code of chivalry and samurai have bushido. When samurai kill themselves it is because they're suicidal. Well it is more because of honor. They die because they have shown themselves dishonorable. Samurai would not want to show dishonor. Samurai just need to follow bushido to live. Would you think that samurai will just randomly do anything dishonorable? No.
I think samurai are better. If you disagree well......you disagree.
