KNIGHTS ARE COOLER THAN SAMURAI@!@@
Would you rather be weak with leather armor that doesn't cover your whole body, or would you rather have good, strong, metal armor that protects your whole body? I would rather have the second choice. Knights are much better because they are much stronger, and their code of chivalry is much more honorable than the samurai's bushido. Knights are much stronger because they started their training at age ten. This was probably because they needed to be strong when they started their training, wheras samurais started their training at age three, which did not really require great physical strength. Knights armor weighed up to 65 pounds! The samurai could never hope to fight with that kind of armor with their skinny bodies. The knights' swords were also up to 34 pounds, while samurai's swords were up to 1 pound. That meant samurais were weak, and they did not have much strength. Second, the knight's code of honor was more honorable than bushido. Bushido required them to suicide if they failed once, which meant they thought only about their armor, which showed they were selfish. They didn't even care about their family. But knights on the other hand did not suicide and did everything they could to protect their families. So this shows that knights were much more honorable than the samurais. Knights were much better, stronger, and more honorable.

Actually the fact that samurai would commit suicide means they are so honorable to the point in which they hold honor higher than life.
A samurai's training not only consisted of fighting, but also how to meditate and clear the mind. This skill allowed them to be more focused in battle. Learning this skill can take awhile and is easier to learn at a younger age, perhaps why they started their training at age 3.
By the time a boy reaches age 10, he's probably a pampered, spoiled, snot-nosed brat who only knows how to order around servants cuz his dad is a noble. Eventually, when they become oficial knights, they typically let pride get in the way of their lives, and bring them to their downfall
A samurai's katana was not only 1 pound. besides, making it light meant was easier to swing and cut cleanly.
Wearing leather armor doesn't neccesarily mean that samurai are weak. Does Obama want men with the strenght of five year olds to protect him? Neither does the shogun and daimyo. Logically samurai could be just as strong as knights.
True it takes strength to wear such heavy armor, but what if you were strong, and didn't even need the armor, so you were also fast? You would be the ultimate warrior in medieval times.
