Aladdin Culture and Stereotypes

We've all watched Aladdin right? Okay, we know that genies don't exist and there aren't really any flying carpets around. Baggy pants, sure they could've worn those in Islamic times. Yes, maybe but that gives me a picture of a genie halloween costume. The movie gave a nice example of a palace. People did where turbans and still do, the movie isn't full of stereotypes it still shows culture. I don't think they wore pointy shoes though.
