Aladdin, a Movie of Islamic Stereotypes

After watching Aladdin, I have noticed several stereotypes that Disney portrays of the Islamic world. First of all, there is the stereotype that everyone there wears pointed shoes. Secondly, the story shows that all men of the Islamic world wear turbans. Finally, there is the belief that all men have either goatees or mustaches. Overall, these are just a few of the stereotypes that are portrayed in Aladdin.

Ha ha.... Your description makes me really want to laugh - pointy shoes - you are right. I didn't pick that up.

Pointy shoes! :D The stereotypes are so funny yet so true! Woudn't it hurt if you always wore those pointy shoes? I don't even want to know what your toes would look like...
