Stereotypes of the Islamic world

After watching the movie "Aladdin", I noticed that some things were very stereotypical. This means that people believe in a generalization of the race though it is usually false. One stereotype of Islamic peo0ple that occurred during the movie was that everyone wore pointy shoes. This is a very big stereotype of Islamic people. Another stereotype was when Jafar had an incredible moustache! That was stereotypical of evil people. He also had a snake staff which can hypnotize people. This is another stereotype of evil people. Many Islamics wore either HUGE turbans or small hats and also had exotic animals as familiars. This is a HUGE stereotype of Islamic people. These are stereotypes that I have found during the movie "Aladdin".
