New York???? FROM EUROPEAN TO THE HARLEM RENAISSANCE!!!!

The European Renaissance is a rebirth of the arts, and learning. Now lets travel from Europe to the New York's Harlem Renaissance. The Harlem Renaissance was also a time where African Americans "broke out of their shells" , confidence in their culture, and a redefined look at their heritage. When Europe had their artists such as Michelango with the Sistine Chapel, da Vinci with the Mona Lisa, and Raphael, Harlem had their own. Harlem had a painter Aaron Douglas, author Langston Hughes, jazz musician Duke Ellington, blues singer Bessie Smith, and more. With all the creativity of new music and art the African American hertage was redefined, from discrimination to a cultural revolution. The Harlem Renaissance was more than just paintings. The Harlem Renaissance is amazing they had to suffer discrimination and racism, then jumped into a rebirth. The European Renaissance and Harlem Renaissance was quite similar, the Harlem Renaissance brought out more. Thank you for traveling from Europe to New York with me. :)
