:[ The Fierce Huns and their affect on Rome

In our homework worksheet, we learned about the Huns. It said, "Many Germanic groups moved onto Roman lands in an attempt to escape the fierce Huns." In the worksheet they are merely background information, but who are they really?
The Huns, hungry for land and power, were a strong Asian tribe. They threathened many great empires, and when they drove out the Germanic groups, Rome went on a decline because the numerous Germanic groups took over Rome in 476 B.C.

Rome fell not because of the Germanic groups but because of the Huns who drove the Germanic groups in the first place! What would have happened if the Huns were never there? Would Rome fall by itself because it was growing weaker, or would someone else conquer them? What is your idea?
Fun Tip!
Actually, the Huns are so well-known as cruel warriors that the Germans in World War II were called Huns for "propaganda" purposes.
Propaganda: information given from one side of the group that shows only one side of the debate, war, or etc.
"Hi Yah! Attack!"

nice post. I learned a bit more about the huns.
and i would think that another group would conquer Rome if the huns weren't there, since Rome was doing so well back then.

Nice job! I wonder if Rome would unite itself if the Huns weren't in the picture. Well, the power shifted from the west to the east so the east would've been weaker. Maybe it would have brought its own destruction. Nice job and I really like your fun fact!
