The Mangos... Mongos...Mongols rule on China :)

The Mongols started their rule in the 1200's after Genghis Khan conquered China and built the Yuan dynasty. Did their rule have a positive or negative impact on China? In my eyes, I believe the Mongols did well during their dynasty and helped not only the political but also economical and social culture aspects of China. Mongols managed to unite China and bring it into a time of peace and prosperity.
The Mongols increased trade and gave China a booming economy by increasing trade and following through different tactics. Even though Mongols gave Chinese officials low- ranking jobs, it aided Mongols politically and put their ideas into effect quickly. Since they traded with “outsiders” their culture blended with other empires and helped their social-cultural aspect. Also they kept the features of the former Chinese government the same since it was strong and helped the Chinese people feel connected to the government. Not only that, but Kublai Khan, grandson of Genghis Khan, paved many roads and build many canals to make trade smoother. Therefore, trade became prosperous so the economical view of China was splendid. In the end, it seems the Mongols did make China a better empire than before.

Nice, creative title! Hehe :) Your analysis was great! Many people would interpret that demoting Chinese politicians was a bad choice but it helped the Mongols who in turn, as you supported, helped the people. Great facts and analysis! (And your title has once again proved great creativity!) :D
