OUR TOTALLY AMAZING, BRILLIANT, INCREDIBLE (oh my goodness :D) SKIT!

Although our skit may not have been the best, I understood much better the topic we were studying.
From preparing and presenting this skit, I received an "inside look" and was able to understand Rome and what it was like a little better. Throughout this skit, I always thought back to myself, "Would I have liked to live her?" I learned that Rome, and everywhere else, has its ups and downs when it comes to actually living there. For instance, compare Augustus' Pax Romana with the economic issues and the invasions of the decline of the empire.
No matter how great the rise (of the Roman Empire), there is no way of controlling the decline.

Wow you actually learned a lot from the play. You were right, the decline couldn't be stopped. It looked like you guys had a lot of fun.
I so agree with you.
yeah.. Doing the skits helped me understand more about the rise and fall of Rome a bit more because we were actually acting out what kinda happened back then, and true that even though the empire was rising for awhile it soon declined and they couldn't really do anything to help much

you...you...you blocked my sword! no one can tell i was putting the sword to jonathon's neck! well, i suppose that's ok. anyway the skit was fun and it made me actually figure out what the silly textbook was talking about. it was very productive and i had a nice feel of accomplishment. =)

Jokes and hysterical acts were added into every skit, each one different, but with the same contents. Throughout these we learned how the Roman Empire came to a fall and ended.
