Confucianism & West African Culture



In Confucianism, followers are taught to respect older generations and family members, similar to West Africans. However, West African kinships were the base for the government, unlike Confucianism.

I think from the fact that, as you said, West African kinship groups were the base for government while families weren't in China. China incorporated elders mostly only in society rather than in political issues. Good job! :)
