ALADDIN!!!
Genies and flying carpets are found in the movie, Aladdin. We all know that's genies and flying carpets don't exist, but it's kinda awesome. Also, you can't hypnotize people by sticking a snake-shaped staff in their face/ and commanding them what to do. The evil person, Jafar, is portrayed with the colors BLACK and RED (evil). The bird, (i forgot his name), has bushy eyebrows and a rough voice.
Some stereotypes are that the sultans and the princes' wear the big bouncy hats with a feather on the top.

I think the bird's name is Iago. But the rest is very interesting. I think the eyes of the snake were supposed hypnotize people.
